‘When I became pregnant I was overwhelmed with the endless lists of tasks that I needed to do before the baby arrived. I was also underwhelmed with what was out there in terms of help. There were companies that did a bit of this and a bit of that but not a one-stop shop for everything to do with parenthood. This was when I decided to chat to my colleague, dear friend and mum of two, Kate, to see what her thoughts were on creating the exact service I was desperately after. This is how Your Parent Concierge was born, helping parents one task at a time. Helping parents BE parents. Between us we have 3 children of all ages so truly feel we can assist with all areas of parental needs.’
Jemma-Jade is a mother of 1 living in Chelsea with her husband and daughter. She is the owner of Jemma-Jade Events, a luxury boutique events company based in London and working worldwide. JJE has planned a range of incredible children’s parties, including a teddy bear’s picnic in a marquee at a client’s home, a My Little Pony Party at London Zoo and a Thomas the Tank Engine train station in Claridge’s Ballroom. These skills combined with the services offered by Your Parent Concierge ensure that Jemma-Jade is ideally positioned to help clients navigate their parental journey, as she has been there! Jemma-Jade is privileged to have a carefully curated black book of contacts tried and tested for herself that she would now like to share with new parents!

‘Jemma-Jade and I have been friends and colleagues for a long time. When she became pregnant with her first baby she reached out to me wanting to explore the possibility of bringing to life the very service she felt was missing – a hub that encompassed everything related to parenthood under one roof.
Our discussions ignited a spark, and from those conversations, Your Parent Concierge was born. Our mission was clear: to assist parents step by step, task by task, in navigating the beautiful yet intricate journey of Parenthood. Our vision was to empower parents to truly embrace their new roles. Together, with our shared experience of raising three children with vastly different ages between us, we felt uniquely positioned to address a comprehensive spectrum of parental needs.

While Kate's journey began with a distinguished, over a decade-long career in professional photography (Kate is the photographer and the creative force behind the luxury brand Kate Nielen Photography), she is also a serial entrepreneur and one of the founders behind Your Parent Concierge. Kate lends a serene professionalism that imparts vision and direction to every narrative. Holding degrees in both Marketing and the History of Art, she brings a unique perspective to her role. Residing in London with her family, including two teenagers, Kate's profound understanding of family dynamics and her artistic sensibilities form the foundation of her venture.
Outside the realm of business, Kate revels in the simple joys of life. Her leisure moments are often spent immersed in literature, indulging in exquisitely shot cinematic masterpieces, experimenting with culinary creations, and hosting cherished gatherings with friends. Furthermore, her family relishes lazy holidays in picturesque locations, embracing moments of togetherness in idyllic surroundings.
